Unless You Will began as a publishing platform before evolving into something larger. In 2017 it expanded into a weekend symposium, a live environment designed to foster genuine interaction and critical dialogue within the photographic community.

The sold-out event brought together artists, curators and industry leaders for a program of talks, discussions and shared experiences. Speakers included international figures Lars Boerring from World Press Photo, Manuel Sigrist from Musée de l'Elysée, Philip Montgomery and Nico Baumgarten, alongside Australian artists John Feely, Raphaela Rosella and Kelly Hussey-Smith.

Across program development, curation, art direction, event design and partnerships, the goal remained consistent: to build a space where ideas could move freely between practitioners, and where the photographic community could gather around something meaningful.
